June Final Sunday at 15:00 ET
After battling FT's tournament support for a couple of weeks, we'll play the twice postponed June Final this Sunday (the 20th of July) at 15:00 ET. The winner will - as usual - secure a seat in the Yearly Final, but we've had to find a substitute for the added buy-ins, and we think we've done pretty well. The winner snatch up an autographed copy of Gus hansen's "Every Hand Revealed", and there are caps and decks for the runner-up and the third place finisher.
Also on Sunday, the next round of IPL will be played, so it should be some busy hours of fun.

Gus Clawing Back From the Grave

A few hours into Day3 at the WSOP Main Event on Thursday, Gus Hansen looked like he was tilting straight for the rail. An early double-up had put him way above average, but then two big lay-downs within half an hour saw him crash to the brink of extinction. Down to 59.000 with blinds of 1.000/2.000 and the average at more than 150.000, however, Gus pulled out a solid comeback and grinded his way back in the biggest poker tournament on Earth. At the end of the day, Gus bagged 355.000 - well above average.

Dull cards, ugly draws and nagging beats kept him struggling all day, ending up status quo for more than 12 hours of play. Today, Thursday, Gus sits down again to turn the tide.
