June Final Sunday at 15:00 ET
After battling FT's tournament support for a couple of weeks, we'll play the twice postponed June Final this Sunday (the 20th of July) at 15:00 ET. The winner will - as usual - secure a seat in the Yearly Final, but we've had to find a substitute for the added buy-ins, and we think we've done pretty well. The winner snatch up an autographed copy of Gus hansen's "Every Hand Revealed", and there are caps and decks for the runner-up and the third place finisher.
Also on Sunday, the next round of IPL will be played, so it should be some busy hours of fun.

Playr League

International Playr League is the name of ThePlayr.com's poker league, where every Playr can battle it out at the tables and fight for the title of Playr of the Year.

Every Sunday of each month, we play a weekly round of league play with points awarded for finishing in the money. At the end of each month, the top 18 Playrs on the leaderboard play in the Monthly Final for a seat in the Yearly Final.
At the end of the year, the winners of the monthly finals will be joined in the Yearly Final by the top 20 Playrs on the Yearly Leaderboard that are not already qualified.

Furthermore, twice a year Playrs get a shot at winning their way directly into the Yearly Final in our "Second Chance Freeroll" and "Last Chance Freeroll." Three seats are up for grabs with this route.
Finally, at the end of the year, all the Playrs who have reached a final table during any International Playr League event will be eligible to play in the "Final Table Shootout," where the final 3 seats in the Yearly Final can be won.

International Playr League tournaments will be played every Sunday throughout the year, and each Sunday there will be two tournaments — one with a buy-in of $2+$0.50 and one with a buy-in of $8+$0.80. You are welcome to play in both tournaments to maximize your shot at the title.
Here in this section there will be leaderboards updated and posted, so you'll easily be able to track your own success.

The first tournament each Sunday will begin at 13:30 ET (Eastern Standard Time) with a buy-in of $2+$0.50. You'll find this tournament by clicking "Tournaments" in the Full Tilt lobby and then clicking "Private."

The second tournament each Sunday will begin at 14:35 ET (Eastern Standard Time) with a buy-in of $8+$0.80. You'll find this tournament by clicking "Tournaments" in the Full Tilt lobby and then clicking "Private."

The prizes in each weekly tournament will be the combined buy-ins. ThePlayr.com takes no fees or percentages. The total buy-ins go right back to the Playrs with the tournament winner cashing 25%.
In the Monthly Finals, at stake is a buy-in for Full Tilt's big Sunday $750,000 Guarantee tournament. And in the Yearly Final, we go all-in.

The winner of the Yearly Final will — on top of winning the International Playr League Trophy and the title of Playr of the Year — take home a prize not yet revealed. The winner of the Danish version of the 2007 Playr League won Gus Hansen's WPT Trophy from Barcelona, and we aim to do even better this year when it comes to the first prize.

The International Playr League is only open to VIP members of ThePlayr.com.
